The Nij 3A. 44 Tactical Protective Vest with Neck and Groin Protection is NIJ0101.06 qualified with a protection of level IIIA.
The protective panels of the vest are made of UHMW-PE (Test report available). It is equipped with additional protective accessories and a larger protective area, and with the hook & loop on side and shoulder, it can be adjusted to fit any type of body. There are pockets front and back which can add hard armor plates to strengthen the protective performance.
Adjustments can be made on vests in line with customer's need

NIJ Level IIIA, stable and excellent protection capability against guns.
Larger protective area, with crotch, neck, and shoulder protection accessories.
Interlayer: stable performance, longer service life, better water and hot proof capacity.
Jacket: longer service life, better wear resistance and dirt proof capacity.
With hard armor plates, it can meet NIJ level III or IV.
This protective Vest is NIJ 0101.06 certificated with a protection of Level IIIA. We can provide test report if needed. It can resist the attack of 9 mm FMJ and .44 Magnum.

A2: It depends. There is no need to purcahse hard armor plates if you only need to stop the handguns. However, if there is more strong threats and you need the vest to stop rifles, you can choose the overt protevtive vest and buy hard armor plates.
